Jane Petrone has been my real estate agent now for over twenty-five years. I would never think of using anyone but Jane for any real estate transaction I would ever make. Here is why. Jane has found for me every house I have ever owned. About twenty-seven years ago (I remember it was a Sunday) I received a phone call from Jane. “Get Over Here!” she said. She had found a house in my price range because the sellers had just lowered their price. I bought that house. It was a great starter house and a bargain. Five years later I receive another phone call (this time on a Saturday, if I am remembering it correctly) and Jane, yet again, said, “Get Over Here!” She had found for me another house, another terrific bargain. I bought it. Last fall, my family celebrated twenty years in that house. Jane has sold houses for friends and workmates-- houses that many considered “unsellable.” Many years ago, she took over the listing for a townhouse that a workmate had been unsuccessfully trying to sell for three or four years. Jane sold it in three months, and this allowed my workmate to move to another state, be reunited with his love, and get on with his life. Three years ago my mother-in-law passed away, and my wife and I were tasked with selling her townhouse. We all know what the real-estate market was like in 2009; I anticipated that the townhouse would be on the market for years. Jane sold it in three days, over 4th of July weekend as a matter of fact. The interesting thing about this transaction was that a similar townhouse was also for sale a half block from the one we sold. A year later, it had not yet sold. I discovered that the sellers of that unit were now asking $50,000 less than our original asking price. I consider that to be money Jane put in my pocket by selling my townhouse so quickly. Jane understands the market and gives great advice to her clients that enable them to sell their properties quickly, even in a depressed market. She recently sold a friend’s townhouse in a matter of weeks and found them a great single family home that they have fallen in love with. Jane Petrone has been my real estate agent for a long time. You should really think about making her your real estate agent too.
